THAT’S JUST ME
I don’t fit
On a velvet cushion
That’s not me
I’d rather sit
On a fat pumpkin
That’s just me
If you need a shirt
I’ll give you mine
That’s just me
If you have a melody
That needs a rhyme
Call on me
When I look around
I see a world
That’s still full of love
That’s just me
I know there’s evil
But I won’t succumb
That’s just me
When I feel like a square bolt
Trying to squeeze into a round hole
The awkward fit will take its toll
So I have to say
That I have to stay
True to myself
That’s just me
